Well, a lot of driving kids back and forth...school, soccer practice and allergy shot appointments...
And I just enjoyed a wonderful vacation with my friends from way back when I used to work, to a delightful cabin in West Virginia.
We ate and played cards and dominoes and went on many a "safari" looking for bears, turkeys, owls and deer. We didn't find the owl from last year or a bear, but we did find turkeys and deer and a hornets nest even. Along with some spectacular mountain views.
Here are some photos from the weekend to enjoy!
I was also able to take a few pictures of my friend Anne's adorable little boys.It was like 2 in the afternoon so not exactly prime photo shoot time, but we had to work with what was available since I needed to be at the airport at 3. Most didn't turn out, but the few that did were pretty darn good I think. You can let me know if I am wrong!! Here are a few...
look at the lashes on that boy!!!!
And finally one of my friend Ruth that I took...her husband wanted a photo of her for his birthday, the quilt was made by his grandmother (I think that is right, Ruth?)

I so love all of these pictures. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Talk to you soon! I have your sign in my car to bring with me.......hopefully today!

Richard is going to absolutely love this picture-his b-day is this Friday. His maternal grandmother made the quilt for him that is in this picture when she was 96 years old. She was in good health right up until she died-3 months after her 100th birthday!
